==Vida y obra==<br />
Pintor. Entre los artistas extranjeros que vinieron a Venezuela durante el siglo XIX, aproximadamente siete eran de origen italiano. De ellos, cuatro se dedicaron a la decoración mural: Onofre Padroni, Francisco Davegno, Luis Bicinetti y Luis Fontana. De este último se conoce su actividad en Maracaibo, cuando el Gobierno, para conmemorar el centenario del nacimiento de Simón Bolívar, le contrató el 30 de abril de 1883, junto a Bicinetti, para que realizara la decoración del Salón Principal del Palacio de Gobierno por la cantidad de 5.200 bolívares.<br />
