Realizó estudios en la Academia Imperial de Bellas Artes de Moscú, donde fue alumno de Titov, Gorelott y Lubimov, discípulo de Pépin. Entre 1920 y 1952 vivió en Francia, donde estudió en la Academia de La Grande Chaumière (París) y participó en los salones independientes desde 1930 hasta 1951. En 1952 llegó a Venezuela. Entre 1953 y 1955 participó en el Salón de Artistas Independientes, celebrado en el MBA. Participó en el XVII, XVIII y XIX Salón Oficial con un Paisaje francés y conjuntos de cerámicas (1956, 1957 y 1958). Es el autor de los frescos que decoran la Iglesia de San Nicolás de Los Dos Caminos (Caracas).
